Scope
Focus, along with a realistic consideration of goals
and capabilities, is important to maintain quality
performance.
GSI defines scope in terms of desired markets, geography,
and types of projects.
The Target Markets for GSI are the following:
- Schools
- Nursing Homes
- Hotel/Motels
- Universities
- Group Housing
- Prisons
- Military Bases
- Office Buildings
- Public Buildings
In general, GSI does not court the residential market,
although we have made exceptions for larger projects
or upon special request of well-known specifiers
or HVAC contractors.
The primary operating area for Geothermal
Services is the Northeast, but depending on the size and scope
of a project, we will consider going anywhere to install
a bore field. Please do not consider geography as a
reason not to talk with us about your project.
Special projects include test bores, grouting, flush
and filling, bore field tie-in, thermal conductivity
tests and training sessions. We have also done field-testing
of new products or procedures.
There is no minimum size or threshold for
commercial projects, since each is considered
based upon potential of the project and the specifier/owner.
GSI has completed commercial installations, large
and small. There is no cost or obligation to
discuss your projects with GSI - no matter what size
they may
